“Everything done in my life was from
God”

I come from a very poor family
with no educational background worth mentioning. Currently both my parents are
not alive. It is sad that they passed away before they got to believe in
Christ.

When I was in grade four, I got
the chance to register in a CDSP program at Holeta Mekane
Yesus Church.
It was a great opportunity for me since my parents could not afford to provide
me with all the support I needed to go through school and it was a starting
point for me to learn the word of God. The teachings helped me to know Christ
personally. I learned how to respect other people, how to serve others with
humility and learned the meaning of true friendship that helped me relate with
the other children and community at large. Generally CDSP established a base
for my life. 

Right after completing high
school, I got the chance to join LDP program which made it possible for me to
go through University education providing me with all the economical and social
support I needed. LDP being a Leadership Development Program thought us what it
means to be a servant leader and I learned to seek God’s will for my life. It
built on what started in CDSP and transformed my worldview.

Today my greatest dream in life is
to be able to support orphans with all that I have.

Finally, I would like to thank my
sponsor Lynnwoodside who was a good mother for me starting from CDSP through
LDP program. She supported me from the start to the end of the program with no
failure. I want to say God bless you and your family and provide you with all
that you desire in life.

to thank my family who stood beside me to the end. God bless you too.
