I was a grade three student when
I got registered at ET-404. It came at the right time when my parents needed
lots of help. I got to know Christ and accepted him as my personal savior and
began serving as a peer educator in the Sunday school. Life was interesting for
I had a great time with the other children
LDP brought me an opportunity to
develop my leadership skills besides the budgetary support I enjoyed. While at
campus, I was serving in the Christian fellowship as a prayer- group leader,
counseling and guidance main leader and as action group leader. The courses I took,
the social life, and the different workshops by LDP were life changing. I also
learned a lot from some lecturers and the hard working LDP staff who were such
a blessing to me.
I do have the desire and commitment to serving
orphans and supporting my family. I do also have the vision to serve the youth
in the church.
What I want to say to my sponsor
is, “God bless you. I know I can’t pay you something in return for what you
have done. But you have saved and served my life. You will have crown from whom
you have served-the God of heaven.” And to my parents I say, “I know you could
not do much for me financially, for you are so poor, let’s make Jesus Christ
the head of our house and we work to break that curse.”
