First and foremost I would like
to give a heart felt GLORY to my LORD,
Jesus Christ. Because it is God who arms me with strength and makes my way
perfect. I have four brothers and a sister. My mother and father are alive. I
am the youngest of all. My brothers are married and have children.
I got baptized in 1991 E.C and
that was the greatest life changing moment in my life. I got to accept Christ
as my savior through ‘gash’ Tilahun Dinssa (the project director) who was like
a father to me and managed to show me Christ.
When I was in CDSP, I was one of
the project students who stood first in their classes, not only academic but
also from Sunday school classes. There I benefited a lot in many aspects from
the sponsorship program.
The time I had with LDP was
crucial in that I got to know myself, and my calling-the purpose for my living.
I want to get involved in educating the little ones for that is the right place
to begin influencing peoples mind the right way. Education is also the solution
to the problems of poverty. If we want to fight poverty, we should wage war
against illiteracy.
Finally I would like to thank CIET, My sponsors,
family members, Mr. Tilahun Dinssa, ET-400 staff, Mr. Getahun, & Miss
Abebech & their children, and all the others who were involved in my life
one way or the other.
